ExxonMobil takes its environmental responsibility seriously. We are committed to protect the safety and health of the residents of the area while communicating openly with neighbors, community members and other interested parties about our actions.
The Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board (“Regional Board”) and the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) are jointly overseeing Site activity. The Regional Board is leading the Site investigation, monitoring, and cleanup. The DTSC is leading aspects relating to health risk assessment, indoor air sampling activities, and community outreach.
Under the oversight of these two agencies, ExxonMobil has investigated soil, soil gas, and groundwater impacts at the Site and the surrounding neighborhood, and has started a cleanup process.
We encourage members of the community to use this website to learn more about the progress of our investigation and for updates on community activities.
